As we age, we lose volume from the face and elasticity from our skin. Our fat pads shrink and our bones remodel, leaving a loss of contour and sagging of the skin. The appearance of these lines, hollows and drooping folds often leaves us looking tired and aged. Dermal fillers are Hyaluronic Acid gels, like the naturally occurring substance made in our own skin, used to smooth away and soften these lines and restore lost volume. They are used in the face and hands with minimal discomfort and can be combined with anti-wrinkle as part of a tailored treatment plan.

Dermal fillers can also create new and instant volume for those wanting pouty lips, plumped cheeks, elongated chin or a contoured jawline. In certain cases, they can correct asymmetries and restore facial balance. Bella Donna uses premium worldwide renowned dermal fillers to provide long-lasting volume and enhance overall features and beauty.

It is also used in emergency situations where dermal filler has been inadvertently injected into an artery causing occlusion of the blood supply. hyaluronidase starts to permanently dissolve the dermal filler immediately. Hyaluronidase only works on Hyaluronic Acid fillers and does not dissolve permanent or semi-permanent dermal fillers.
