How does Lotus GynoLaser treatment work?
The laser is inserted into the vagina, and the laser light is applied to the mucosal tissue. The laser creates a thermal injury in the tissue and stimulates a cellular repair process, which in turn produces elastin and collagen, the building blocks of healthy, more youthful tissue.
What results can patients expect?
The body will produce renewed, healthy tissue that will be more elastic, and will contribute to better lubrication. Many patients notice a reduction in infections as the chemical balance returns to normal. Urinary function can be better supported because the deep supporting structure of the vaginal wall is also strengthened.
How many treatments are required?
A single 15 minute treatment can deliver noticeable results. A series of three treatments spaced four week apart is recommended for optimal results
